Francis
Charles Moss was born in Rotherham about 1887, the son of Charles, grandson of Richard Moss. He married Dorothy. At some stage they lived at Wickersley Hall. Children: Christopher Charles and F. P. Moss, and daughters Peggy and Joan.
Christopher Charles, (twin son) married Mary daughter of Mr. Alexander T. Guy of Hough Green, Chester. The engagement was announced Jun 19, 1961.
Peggy married a Luscombe, and Joan married a Firth.
After a period at Sheffield University, Francis Moss took an engineering apprenticeship

Mr. F. C. Moss was Managing Director of the Rotherham Forge and Rolling Mills, Company Ltd.
He was with this company for 35 years.
He was a member of Wickersley Parish Council from 1939 to 1946 and a magistrate for the West Riding of Yorkshire.
Mr. Moss, was Secretary of Wickersley Christian Institute from 1923. It is recorded, ' ...he was a wise counsellor and administrator, intimately informed in the affairs of the parish ...'.
A memorial stone was placed in the Institute, honouring his good work.
His wife, was also very actively connected with The Institute for a considerable number of years. Wickersley Hall, standing amid lawns, trees and flowers, was the scene of many happy associatons, including the Annuai Garden Fete, which was one of the outstanding events in the village, during the summer.
He died aged 56 at Wickersley Hall.
Dorothy, his wife, also a J.P. was living in 1961.
In 1862 , an Elizabeth Moss was at the National School, Bramley.
