In 1807, Catherine Wild of Rotherham, widow was to marry Joseph Flint of Rotherham, grocer. She held land and property at Westgate, Rotherham, Radford St., Sheffield, 2 and sittings in Sheffield Parish Church and a sitting in Rotherham Church.
John Wild living in 1812, of Rotherham, was a pipe manufacturer. By 1818 he was described as 'of Sheffield, a yeoman'. He had a son, William Wild of Sheffield, his eldest son.
