Thomas and Fanny moved to live in Sheffield, where Thomas worked as a Drayman for Thomas Ward in Sheffield,
by 1911 they were living at Ulley Beeches where Thomas was recorded on the 1911 census as working as a horseman on a farm,
sometime later they moved to Thurcroft where Thomas worked down the pit.

Wedding of Robert and Gladys Bell (nee Booth) Spring 1928
An interesting wedding took place in St. Albans Church, Wickersley, on Wednesday, when Mr. Robert Bell, third son of
Mrs. Fanny and the late Mr. Thomas Bell, of Thurcroft, was married to Miss Gladys Emma Booth, third daughter of Mrs.
Lillian Gertrude and Mr. Frederick Booth, of Wickersley. Mr. Henry Bell (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man, and
the bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of ivory georgette, trimmed with Haxiton lace and pearls. She
also wore a net silk veil with a coronet of orange blossom, and carried a bouquet of white roses.
Miss Kathleen (Kitty) Booth (sister of the bride) and Miss Daisy Kennen (cousin of the bride) were the bridesmaids.
They were both attired in dresses of shell pink georgette, with silver lace, and carried bouquets of sweet peas.
The Rev. W. Paskin (Priest-in-charge of Thurcroft) officiated at the ceremony, and the organist was Mrs. R. Wildes.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Church Room, Thurcroft, where upwards of 100 guests were entertained.
