George Street a Farmer and was married to Mary Wells 1830 at Laughton-en-le-Morthen, Children:
Mary Styring, born 1820 in Guilthwaite, Whiston, had a daughter Agnes,born 1841 in Wickersley, who married Albert Street,a Saddler, born 1843 in Wickersley. At the time of the 1881 census, they were living at Pinch Mill Road, Quarryfield, Wickersley.
By 1891 the Albert had his own farm, some of the Styrings lived here, possibly to help with the farm:
By 1901 there was only Albert and Agnes, plus a Servant, Sarah Parker(b 1887).
William Street, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Else), was born in Brampton-en-le-Morthen, christened in 1800 at Treeton. A Blacksmith, he was living in Wickersley from at least 1825 when his first child was born.
He married first,Jane born 1796 in Wickersley who died 1834 at Rotherham aged 38. They had 3 children: (Source:Family)
After Janes death in 1834, William married again to Ann (Nee Bell), (christened in 1800 at Scafforth, Notts), daughter of William and Hannah Bell.

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Esther Ann Street her Executors Administrators and Assigns all and singular
my Household Furniture, Stock in Trade, Money Goods, Chattels and Personal Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever
and of which I may be possessed or entitled to at the time of my decease. To hold the same unto my said Daughter Esther Ann

William and both his wives Jane and Ann are buried together in St Albans churchyard near to the church itself.

William and Jane (Nee Street) Scammerdine had a daughter, Jane Street Scammerdine b.1875 Bramley who married C.Nelson. Jane was residing with grandparents Joseph and Harriet Street in 1881. By 1891 she was a servant aged 16 in Taylor household, Steel Manufacturer Endcliffe Lane Sheffield. She married Charles Nelson (b.1875) in 1899 Rotherham . Other names connected with this family: Bell, Booth, Dobb, Graham, Kennen, Plant, Styring, Tyas. The family occupations were blacksmiths mainly but also saddlers, carriers, farmers.
It is noted that in 1833, a G. Street was farming in Wickersley, he was married to Mary Wells. Although the children were born in Wickersley and George was recorded as farming in Wickersley in 1833, by the 1851 census, George no longer living, and his family were living in Laughton-en-le-Morthen, all except John.
