Samuel Padley married 30 Jan 1816 to Jane Sanderson, born Wickersley in 1785. Children:

  5. Robert Padley b.1830(his real name was John William Padley)

Living on Back Lane, Wickersley in 1881 was Robert Padley, a Quarry mason, born in Wickersley in 1830. He married Ann, born 1837 also from Wickersley. Children:

In 1891 Alfred Padley,Grandson age 2 was living with the family. Harriet's son?

It is noted that William Padley, age 63, a Quarry Labourer and Thomas PADLEY age 32 a Quarry Mason were lodging at the home of Ruth Barker, Chapel Keeper - also on Back Lane.

Thomas(1817-1867) married Maria Downs(1819-1878),in 1851 they were living in Lings Cottages,Wickersley.

Living in the cottages opposite the Masons Arms on Bawtry Road were:

John Padley, born 1844, a Quarry Mason age 37. Nephew of Robert Padley(b.1830) who lived on Back Lane.

John (1844) had a brother Samuel(b.1840) and a sister Mary (b.1850).

Samuel Padley(b.1871),a Brass finisher, married Martha Jane Trickett (b.1873). Children:

 

William Padley, 67, born Wickersley, and his son Henry, 25, both Agricultural labourers, were living in Laughton-en-le- Morthen in 1871.

 

Emma Padley of Ulley was buried 27 12 1926 at Laughton-en-le-Morthen, she was 78. Thomas Padley age 86 of Ulley was buried 07 05 1935 at Laughton-en-le-Morthen
