JOHN MIDDLETON DOWNES Deceased. NOTICE is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands upon or against the estate of John Middleton Downes late of Wickersley in the county of York Farmer Grocer and Beer-Dealer deceased (who died on the 7th day of January 1896 at Wickersley and whose will was proved in the Wakefield Probate Registry of the High Court of Justice on 10 March 1896 by Alfred Ernest Copley of Wickersley aforesaid Stamp Distributor one of the executors named in the said will) are hereby required to send particulars in writing of their claims or demands to us the undersigned - Solicitors or the said executor on or before the 27th day of June next after which date the said executor will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the parties entitled thereto having regard only to the claims or demands of which he shall then have had notice and the said executor will not be liable or accountable ' for the assets of the said deceased or any part thereof so distributed to any person or persons of whose claims or demands he shall not then have had notice. And all persons indebted to the estate of the said John Middleton Downes deceased are hereby requested forthwith to pay to us on behalf of the said executor the amount of their respective debts.
