Beighton family of Maltby and Wickersley

William BEIGHTON, a Stonemason was born in 1791 in Maltby, he married in 1814 at Braithwell to Martha Swift who was born in 1793 at Braithwell, daughter of John Swift. They had three children all born at Wickersley:

  1. born in 1821 Samuel who married Elizabeth ??
  2. born in 1824 Ruth
  3. born in 1828 James

Samuel and Elizabeth Beighton had a son William born 1841 in Wickersley.

 

Also in Wickersley in 1891 a Joseph C Beighton,aged 52,a Wheelwright & Joiner,born Braithwell.
