On 18 June 1799 Thomas (H)Averill, of Tickhill, married Mary Coucom, at Rotherham, by license. The witnesses were William Joseph and William Maw. Thomas c.21 AUG 1774, Tickhill, and Mary had daughter Ann c.22 JAN 1804 Treeton, the family lived at Brampton-en-le-Morthen before moving to Wickersley where son James was born 1806.
