William Sykes age 38, a forgeman. Born in Wentworth, Rotherham the son of William Sykes and Thurza (Nee Gascoigne). He was married to Myra Wilcock. They had four children. Lived on Midland Road Masborough.He was transported to Western Australia in 1867. He died in 1891,
John Teale, age 35, from Cantley, Doncaster; a companion of Lilley in his younger days. Employed at Midland Iron Works, Rotherham. It was said he had a grudge against Lilley for the conviction of his father.
Robert Woodhouse, aged about 40, married with Children, lived in Wellgate, Rotherham. He was landlord of the King's Arms public house, at Doncaster Gate, Rotherham. Once strongly suspected of being involved with the murder of a Mr. Whitaker at Dalton Brook, near Thrybergh. Shortly after this, he left Rotherham for Lincolnshire. He had been back in Rotherham about a year and was employed by Messrs. Chadwick and Thirlwell in the construction of new waterworks. Gave evidence and received a free pardon. Brother of James Woodhouse.
