TELEVISION
The Rector and Parochial Church Council are anxious, to make sure that every parishioner shall have an opportunity of viewing the Television programme of the Coronation.
By the courteous, co-operation of Rediffusion Ltd. it has been made possble in
St. Albans Church from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Coronation Day. All are welcome to come and go as they desire during these three hours. There is no charge for admission and no collection.
Ladies need not wear hats.Please move about the Church as quietly as possible to avoid disturbing one another. The following prayer Is suggested for use before leaving the Church:
Almighty God, the fountain of all goodness, we humbly beseech thee to bless our Sovereign Lady. Queen Elizabeth the Parliaments in all her dominions, and all who are set in authority under her that they may order all things in wisdom, righteousness and peace. to the honour of Thy Holy Name. and the good of Thy Church and people through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
