GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (1st verse only)
Elizabeth of England will be sung by the children of Wickersley Controlled School. Words by Dr. W. E. St. Lawrence Finny, Music composed by Hayden Wood.

ELIZABETH OF ENGLAND
Elizabeth of England as fair as flow'rs in Spring
Your grace and charm become you as a daughter of a King.
Elizabeth of England so noble, kind and true
For you we sing with heart and soul of Britains pride In you.

You led the youth of Britain to work and win success,
By firm determination when you were their Princess
Your Gracious Queenly presence wherever you have been
Has won for you devotion as Englands fairest Queen.

Elizabeth of England as fair as flow'rs In Spring
Your grace and charm become you as a daughter of a King,
Elizabeth of England so noble kind and true,
For you we sing with heart and soul
Of Britain’s pride in you.

The children will lead the people In singing the paraphrase of the 23rd Psalm as sung at Her Majesty s Wedding to the old Scottish tune Crimond (Methodist Hymn Book).
