Town Twinning

Wickersley has been twinned with Öhringen since 1996

In April 1996 an official ceremony took place in Wickersley. The counter signature of the partnership took place during the attendance of a delegation from Wickersley in July 1997 in Öhringen.

Situated in the southern German federal state Baden-Württemberg, it is 70 km northeast from the regional capital Stuttgart. The area around Oehringen-Friedrichsruhe is called 'Hohenlohe' and adjoins the Free State of Bavaria.
